HELP US
Snip It in the Bud

Flying B Animal Rescue & Sanctuary is committed to addressing the animal overpopulation problem in Ellis County - and all of Texas - by "snipping it in the bud". Our driving focus is to make responsible pet ownership accessible to all community residents.

For every $7500 we raise, we will reserve a full day of services to sponsor low-cost spay/neuter surgeries for up to 100 animals in partnership with DeHart Veterinary Services, Texas Coalition for Animal Protection and Spay Neuter Network. We use DeHart, TCAP, and SNN for our rescue animals and can attest to the high quality services they provide. They are very important resources to our rescue.

Kittens

The project is designed to serve socioeconomically disadvantaged pet owners, educate residents who do not understand the health benefits of fixing their pets, and addressing the needs of the rural residents whose large livestock guardian dogs make spay/neuter cost prohibitive. Our goal is to reduce the number of "accidental" litters that are at risk of becoming strays and continuing the cycle of unwanted animals in our community.
