Living The Dream
Flying B Animal Rescue & Sanctuary was founded in honor of my husband Tom Baker who passed away in 2023 from pancreatic cancer. Tom understood my profound love of animals and wanted me to follow my dream to start an animal rescue - so here we are.
Flying B provides rescue, shelter, and rehabilitation for abandoned animals in the Ellis County and surrounding areas until they find their forever home.
It's for the dogs.

Foster | Rescue | Senior Sanctuary
FOSTER
We partner with non-profits to foster animals in need. We support other animal rescues who need space, and work with animals needing more socialization. We also support organizations working with people during housing transitions.
RESCUE
We take in stray animals or animals that have been abandoned in the rural areas of south Dallas-Ft Worth. As a resident of Ellis County, we see first-hand the large number of former pets that have been dumped in the country. We are committed to providing them shelter and care until a new forever home can be found.
SENIOR SANCTUARY
Many dogs that are surrendered or abandoned are seniors because the cost of care (and inconvenience) becomes too much for the owners. We are in the process of renovating a shop sitting on the back 3 acres of our property into a rescue and sanctuary for fostered, rescued, and permanent placement pets.
